Authors

Verdigris content is researched and written by a small group of industry authors who share a love of the communications business, and have in common their concern for the environment. They include some of the leading journalists working in the graphic arts, and together their experience covers all areas of print and media production.

ImageClare has been an independent consultant for over ten years and working with organisations with an interest in sustainability and has a strong belief that the printing industry does have a sustainable future. Her customers range from individual companies wanting to improve their own environmental performance to industry bodies wanting to provide advice to help their members or publishers wanting to help their readers.

Laurel Brunner

Image Laurel Brunner started her career in 1978 as an accountant for a printing company. Since then she has worked exclusively in the prepress and publishing industries, with a particular specialisation in prepress production and digital technologies. She is managing director of Digital Dots, an international consulting group, and publisher of Spindrift, an independent, subscriber supported newsletter for the graphic arts, printing and publishing industries.

Nessan Cleary

ImageNessan Cleary began his career working in television news, first as a sound recordist and then a cameraman. After retraining as a journalist he worked briefly on a local newspaper in Merseyside. A natural interest in computing and digital technology led him to spend six years editing Electronic Imaging, a UK-based magazine covering the technical side of the graphic arts.
