ISO 14001
This ISO standard was published in 2004 and explains what is required of an environmental management system to enable an organisation to develop and implement an environmental policy. ISO 14001 includes legal and other requirements, and describes how to apply them to the business. The standard does not state specific environmental performance criteria, but focuses instead on establishing, implementing, maintaining and improving an environmental management system.
We are actively compiling a list of printing companies around the world certified for ISO 14001. The following list of companies have current 14001 certificates as of April 2010. Print buyers are recommended to check that these certificates are still current.
